MEET THE CREW

Bristol Baybes was born out on the back deck of the F/V Mjolner during a late night set. Trading the tow line back and forth we talked about the world of stories that live in the minds and hearts of women in the fishing industry. Stories that all too often go unheard. We wanted to hear those stories, of the women we wave to, the women we haven't met but are somehow still bound too.

It’s now been almost 3 years since that first conversation we had out on the back deck.

What started as heavy-eyed seed of a dream between two cousins has taken root into an ecosystem of gals tellin’ tales!

We believe women, Alaskan Natives, and queer folks are the unsung heroes of Bristol Bay. We want to hear more of their stories. We are here to share those stories. Thank you for stopping by!
